About the project
Working together with our partners, the UJA/New York Jewish Federation and the Jerusalem Education Authority, we created a multi-year program that invests in critical Jerusalem school districts. Kiryat HaYovel’s 4 schools were selected for investment with a goal of improving student achievement, increasing parental satisfaction with the schools and increasing residency in this important neighborhood. Coupled with the Adopt-a-Neighborhood program, this project was a welcome addition to the holistic approach the Foundation takes to empowering communities. The program commenced in 2011 and continues through today.
