About the project
The Jerusalem Brigade of the Israel Defence Forces played a critical role in the War of Independence(1948), the Six Day War (1967) and the Yom Kippur War (1973). In 1989, the Jerusalem Foundation supported a project of the brigade’s veterans’ group to provide support to the approximately 25 children between the ages of 5-17 whose fathers were killed while serving in the brigade.
