About the project

The Beit Hakerem Elementary School is a secular public school serving the Beit Hakerem neighborhood. The Jerusalem Foundation established a creativity center in the school’s bomb shelter in 1990. The center includes the Charles Glickman Library (the refurbished school library), the Daniel Harris Room for art, music, photography and other creative activities, and the Lucy Harris Room, a games room with a theater corner. In 1999, it supported the purchase of computers.
