About the project

The Jerusalem Foundation supported establishment of the Dorothy Levine Mother & Child Care Center in 1972 to serve women and children in the Neve Ya’acov neighborhood. Over the years, the Jerusalem Foundation has supported various public health education programs at the center, including establishment of the Health Education Center for Women, which has operated programs to help prevent premature births, to provide check-ups for the early detection of breast cancer and more. In 1996, the Foundation supported renovations and the purchase of equipment, including installation of air conditioning, interior repairs and garden improvements.
